Are SG men man enough?
Well, inequality in sexes exist, like it or not. Some of us women talk about independence, but at other times we demand to be treated like a lady. Sometimes men don’t get us, but hey, sometimes we women don’t get you guys as well.
So what’s the big deal with being womanly or manly? How do you define womanly? Shell prawns for our men? Looks - wise?
I personally feel that all of us have a side of us that only a small circle would know. And whether we are womenly (or manly, from a man’s POV) is entirely up to their point of view.
It can be tiring to be a woman these days. Men tend to expect women to:
Be darn hot in bed. (this is probably something most guys would love)
And once you step out of the bedroom…
Be smart and intelligent when we engage in conversations. (when we talk too much and outtalk you you get irritated.
Do some stuff together some time. (Oh yeah, by the way if we beat you at your favourite PS2 game you get irritated as well.)
Be a good, (if not perfect) wife. And mother as well. (when we strive towards those goals you say we’re boring housewives, and the babes outside are a great deal hotter.)
Act stupid when you need to act stupid. (then you say I too stupid for you.)
Then what? What you want? We want to work hard to be what you want us to be, but how about you guys?
So you think SG women are too smart? Too materialistic? It really depends.
So you fell for a materialistic girl? Hey you should have seen the signs coming man. She would have asked for alot of expensive gifts while dating and from there you should know what exactly you should do right boy?
Too smart? Isn’t it good to have someone who can tip you off earlier, help you around whenever you need some help here and there? Too smart does not mean that you can’t date the person right? You mean you prefer people who are really stupid to stick around you so that you look really smart? Looking smart is not good enough my friend. What matters is the ‘click’, that connection that you two make. When it clicks, nothing else matters, be it the size of your brain or your wallet (unless you’re freaking really poor of course.)
Earning too much. If she doesn’t care, you shouldn’t feel so hurt as well. I think a good talk or something regarding financial issues can smooth it out.
Sometimes we should just put such issues aside. What womenly issues, manly issues..inequality issues…
People, the world IS fair. It’s fair cause it’s unfair to everyone no matter who you are. Get a grip.
If you didn’t get to meet the one of your life and he/she happened to fall into the stinky category it doens’t mean you will never find the proper one for you.
Although I’m not sure which category of ‘womanly’ most people are talking about, but what I know is that we can be womanly.
Only that you’re not the one to see or feel it. Too bad then.
